Ryan Nelsen is fit and available for Monday night's game against Liverpool after signing a short-term contract with Tottenham.
Nelsen will spend the rest of the season at White Hart Lane after his contract with Blackburn was terminated earlier in the week and the Kiwi is ready to answer the call if needed.
The 34-year-old has struggled with injury this season and hardly figured for Rovers but assistant boss Kevin Bond says the player is fit and raring to go and will be in the squad to face the Reds.
"He is fit and eligible to play on Monday," Bond said of the situation. "I've just had a cup of tea with him in the canteen. He is looking forward to the challenge."
Louis Saha will also be available following his move from Everton.
