Bolton are expected to announce the signature of striker Marvin Sordell from Championship side Watford in a £3million deal shortly.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle has been desperately seeking to strengthen his attacking options in January but failed with a £7million deadline day swoop for Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.
The Wanderers boss, however, has seemingly managed to secure the services of 20-year-old Watford striker Sordell, with reports stating the paperwork regarding the move is all but completed.
Sordell was withdrawn from the Watford squad for their fixture at Millwall on Tuesday at the last minute in order to discuss terms with Bolton.
An official announcement from both Watford and Bolton is expected to be made in the coming hours.
