Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has promised Michael Kightly prolonged run in the side as long as he remains fit.
The 26-year-old has been out of the side with one injury after another but returned recently and put in a man of the match display against Aston Villa last weekend.
McCarthy was delighted with his efforts and is now poised to give the 26-year-old several consecutive games in the hope that he returns to his absolute best.
"What he needs now is seven, eight, nine, 10 games in the Premier League on the bounce," McCarthy told the Express and Star.
"That then will tell us where he is. Physically, he's just like brand new.
"He's completed the last two Premier League games without any problems at all. He's been terrific."
Asked if Kightly has been his best signing for Wolves, McCarthy added: "I think at £25,000, for what he did for us in the Championship, I couldn't argue with that."
