Potters face striker poser

by Setanta Staff , 18 January 2012 Potters face striker poser

Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are reportedly lining up a £5million bid for Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones.

It is believed the Riyadh-based outfit see Jones as the ideal replacement for top star Yousel Al-Arabi, who is expected to leave the club.

The Potters signed Jones for £8million from Sunderland 18 months ago, but the Trinidad and Tobago international has seen his chances limited after the summer arrival of Peter Crouch and the outstanding form of Jon Walters.

Although boss Tony Pulis is reluctant to let the forward go, Al Hilal are said to have made an official approach, with Stoke looking at least to recoup the money they paid for Jones in the first place.
