Reo-Coker to clinch Bolton deal

Midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker has reportedly agreed terms to join Bolton Wanderers.


The 27-year-old former Wimbledon and West Ham United man has been a a free agent after being released by Aston Villa and, despite interest from Leicester City and Ipswich Town, he now looks set to prolong his Premier League career.

The player has been holding talks with Owen Coyle’s side since the weekend and all that now needs to be done is for the Trotters to officially confirm his signing.

The player's agent Tony Finnigan says a deal is close, having said that he and his cleint have been impressed with what Bolton have had to say.

"We had a brilliant meeting with the manager, it couldn't have gone any better," he said. "We've got a bit more to sort out in a meeting today but I've been really pleased with how things have gone with Bolton."

Bolton are also close to unveiling Burnley duo Tyrone Mears and Chris Eagles so the Trotters could have three new faces on show when they take on Newport County this weekend.
