Tottenham's England striker Jermain Defoe is targeting a derby double this weekend as Spurs travel to troubled Arsenal on Sunday.
Spurs fans have had to wait 20 years since the last north London derby double but Defoe is confident it will happen this weekend with Harry Redknapp's men flying high and Arsenal stumbling from one poor result to another.
With just 12 Premier League games left after this weekend Spurs could take a massive step towards guaranteeing Champions League football next season as a win would take them 13 points clear of their arch rivals in third spot and it would keep up the pressure on the two Manchester giants above them.
Having won 2-1 at White Hart Lane in October and losing just one game in the last 15 Defoe is confident about a first double over the Gunners in the league since the 1992-93 campaign.
"It's going to be a difficult game but I'm confident, obviously, with the way we're playing," Defoe told radio station LBC 97.3.
"We've got a really strong squad now and everyone's playing well. Everyone's firing and team spirit is fantastic which I think is always important if you want to try to achieve something.
"We've got a great chance to go there and get three points."
