Youngs admits to lack of form

England scrum-half Ben Youngs has admitted he's out of form and fears for his starting place ahead of the Six Nations clash with Wales.

Youngs was replaced in the second half of last weekend's narrow 19-15 win over Italy by Lee Dickson, who impressed enough to be considered for a starting spot at Twickenham next Saturday.

England interim coach Stuart Lancaster has already hinted at changes for the Wales game, highlighting the performances of Dixon and Ben Morgan from the bench in Rome as reasons for him to shuffle his pack.

Northampton star Youngs admits his place is under threat and concedes that he has struggled to replicate his early form in an England shirt, perhaps through trying too hard.

"I need to stop over-thinking things and just play my natural game," Youngs told the Daily Telegraph.

"I play best when I just play what I see and go with it. I haven't been doing that of late. I've been trying to force things

"I'm so keen for things to click that it's almost your downfall.

"I can only work hard and it's up to the coaches what they do. Whatever decision they make, I'll do what's best for the team and crack on."
