HRT will miss next week's four-day test at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.
The Spanish team were forced to bring their 2011 car to Jerez last week as their 2012 challenger has yet to pass the mandatory crash tests3.
They had planned to unveil the new car in Barcelona ahead ahead of the four-day test but once again the car has failed to pass two crash tests and as a result it will not be ready to drive around the Circuit de Catalunya.
The team could have brought the 2011 car to Barcelona but HRT have decided against this and will now spend the week working on getting its new car ready for the second Barcelona test on March 1.
