Cork manager Conor Counihan was pleased to come away from a bruising encounter against Armagh on Sunday with a point.
The defending NFL champions led Paddy O'Rourke's side by five points at the break, but saw Armagh come back into things with a spirited fightback.
"It's a difficult place to come to and after losing a man in the first half, we're happy enough to have taken a draw," Counihan told RTE.
"There certainly was an edge to the game; no little physicality. You often get games like that in the league."
Counihan was also quite emphatic that full forward Paul Kerrigan should not have been sent off for an off the ball incident in the first half.
"I did see what happened and in may view it wasn't a sending off. Obviously, others will have a more objective view than me, but what I saw didn't warrant a red card."
